ESVO takes center stage in Nigeria’s quest for civility, ethical leadership

By Adetutu Audu

In a bold move to promote civility, ethical conduct, and social responsibility across Nigeria, Lady Jane Respects Services, a consultation and mentorship organization dedicated to building civil and positive workplace cultures, has officially transitioned into a non-governmental organisation under the name Etiquette and Social Values Organization (ESVO).

This evolution marks a strategic expansion designed to deepen impact, broaden reach, and strengthen partnerships with institutions, schools, care homes, communities, and corporate organisations. Through this transition, ESVO seeks to rebuild social values, nurture respectful citizens, and foster humane, values-driven leadership.

Speaking on the transition, Lady Jane Kalu Ndukwe, Chief Executive of ESVO, noted that the move reflects a long-held conviction that social transformation must be intentional and systemic. “I have long believed that true transformation begins with an awakened conscience.

“When people understand that their actions carry consequences—and that unkindness diminishes human dignity—they begin to choose what is right. If we guide children in the right direction during their formative years, they grow into adults who lead with conscience, making decisions not just for themselves, but for the good of all,” she said.

Central to ESVO’s work are two carefully curated signature toolkits:

The Good Manners Toolkit, designed for children aged 7–13, introduces the Four Corners of Respect: a framework that helps young minds develop strong character, social awareness, and respectful conduct from an early age.

The Humanity and Refinement Toolkit, designed for adults and leaders, is anchored in the belief that true transformation begins with an awakened conscience. Rooted in emotional intelligence, the toolkit equips individuals to build formidable teams, connect with grace, and create sustainable impact across personal and professional spaces.

Both toolkits have been successfully trademarked by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Commercial Law Department of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, affirming their originality, credibility, and national relevance.

This new chapter underpins a clear commitment to raising a generation grounded in respect, guided by conscience, and equipped to transform society.
