The Chief Executive Officer of Dee Utensils, Amb. Lois Andrew Ihwo, has been inducted into the International Society of Diplomats (ISD), marking a significant milestone in her professional and public service career.

The induction took place at a ceremony in Abuja attended by members of the diplomatic community, senior government officials, business leaders and peace advocates.

ISD is an A-class international organisation established to promote diplomacy through friendship, trade and investment, international cooperation, peace and social justice for the advancement of humanity.

The organisation is also actively involved in peacebuilding, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution in collaboration with relevant authorities and agencies.

Amb. Ihwo’s induction is widely viewed as a reflection of her growing international profile.

At the event, she was also presented with an Award of Excellence for impactful leadership in youth development and national peace.

The honour comes shortly after her recent traditional recognition as Trauraruwan Matan Kasar Jiwa—translated as “the shining star of Jiwa land”—in appreciation of her contributions to her community.

Widely known for her philanthropy and mentorship initiatives, Amb. Ihwo has implemented several outreach programmes over the years through her business and personal platforms, focusing on skills acquisition, health awareness and support for grassroots communities.

Her induction has continued to attract goodwill messages from associates and well-wishers, many of whom describe it as an opportunity for her to further contribute to Nigeria’s image and global engagement.

Earlier in 2025, Amb. Ihwo was also honoured with the Excellence in Affordable Luxury Kitchen Solution award at the Africa–UK Trade and Investment Conference and Awards, held at the Royal National Hotel in London.
