BONNY@TAP: A new cultural playground for adults comes to Lagos this December

Lagos is set to experience a fresh kind of cultural gathering as the Best of Naija Now Yours at The Adults’ Playground or BONNY@TAP takes place on December 20th and 21st at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.

Taking inspiration from the way Africans enjoy artistic expression, BONNY@TAP brings together elements present in all our occasions – art, fashion, music, food, games, and immersive activities in a setting created specifically for adults seeking connection, creativity, and meaningful leisure beyond the typical party scene.

Unlike conventional festivals, the BONNY@TAP fair positions itself as a space where adults can reconnect with play, presence, and culture. Attendees can expect live music performances, visual artists creating works in real time, fashion expressions, curated food and cocktail experiences, interactive games, and emerging digital experiences such as virtual reality — all within a relaxed but vibrant environment.

The event organisers describe BONNY@TAP as a response to the growing need for intentional cultural spaces in Lagos. “Adults work hard, carry responsibilities, and navigate a fast city. BONNY@TAP creates room to pause, connect, and experience joy without pressure,” an organiser noted.

Set against the backdrop of Lagos’ December festivities, BONNY@TAP aligns with the city’s reputation as a cultural hub while offering something more reflective and experiential. The event aims to attract professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, and culture lovers who value quality experiences and meaningful social interaction. Though curated for adults, all activities are wholesome and can be viewed by all ages.

Federal Palace Hotel, known for hosting premium lifestyle events, provides the ideal waterfront setting for the festival. With open spaces, curated zones, and thoughtful programming across both days, BONNY@TAP promises a balance of energy and calm — moments of excitement alongside opportunities to simply be present.

As December in Lagos continues to grow as a peak season for culture and entertainment, BONNY@TAP positions itself not just as an event, but as a cultural statement — one that redefines leisure for adults in the city.

BONNY@TAP runs from 2PM – 10PM daily on December 20th and 21st.
