It’s possible to rest from challenges, by Funmi Komolafe

It’s possible to rest from challenges, by Funmi Komolafe

Compliments of the season!  For these words to be meaningful in one’s life, one must be have rested from all challenges and that is the will of God for those that serve him.

Psalm 128 vs. 1-3 ( NIV) ” Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in his ways.

You will eat the fruit of your labor, blessings and prosperity will be yours.

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house, your sons will be like olive shoots around your table”.

Beloved, it is only a person that the LORD has set free from challenges that can testify to the words of the LORD in Psalm 128 vs. 1-3.

The late General Overseer of Laughter Foundation Ministry, Pastor Moses Gbenga Oso focused on verse three saying regularly that God actually wants couples to have more than a child.  Hence, it is written, ” your sons will be like olive tree around your tables”.

King James version states: “Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house; thy children like olive plants round about thy table”.

In Pastor Oso’s interpretation, it means you may have four children unless of course you do not wish to have so many.  Therefore, regular prayers were said for couples that have a child to have more and some had more.

He also emphasized blessing and prosperity because in his words, ” you need money to train the children”

Pastor Oso is gone to be with the LORD but the words he spoke are still relevant today. The children born under the Anointing that God gave him are well and alive.

No wonder the Lord Jesus said, John 6 vs. 62&63 ( KJV) ” What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?  It is the spirit that  quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”.

Brethren,   the world is full of wickedness.    The Holy Bible tells us in  Jeremiah 17 vs. 9  ( KJV): ” The heart is  deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it”.

Some people just want others to be in  pains and sorrow  but the living God, is on his throne  to nullify their evil plans.

In the name of Jesus every evil plan against you, the Lord will scatter in Jesus name.

Still in the memory of Pastor Gbenga Oso a.k.a Daddy of a million babies that was laid to rest last Saturday, I will share some amazing  testimonies of people that God  made to rest from challenges.

A  couple that had been  married for 18 years without children  after series of prayers and fasting assignments took in and gave birth to  set of twins.  On  the day of the naming ceremony, a relation of the husband,  an uncle   that once lived with them, came  from the village to confirm if it was true.    Immediately, he sighted the twins, he fainted and was taken to the hospital .

He never wished that the couple would be fruitful. Rather, he wanted the husband to train his  own children and remain childless.

In spite of this high level wickedness, the Anointing broke the  yoke for the couple. Today, they have three children and the  wicked uncle is dead.

I’ll also  share the testimony of a couple that came from London to Laughter Foundation because they couldn’t have children for 15 years.  They actually got married in the Ibadan branch of the church.

Theirs was a peculiar case. The woman had no problems with conception but once she  has a particular dream usually around four to five months, she would have a miscarriage.

With the best of  medical attention in London, the problem persisted because medical science has no solution to spiritual challenges. The couple decided to return to Nigeria for prayers because they knew the problem was spiritual.

Barely three months after they returned, the woman conceived and it was a set of triplets.

Pastor Oso had a special love for twins and multiple babies.

One of his popular verses for women waiting on the LORD is Genesis 25 vs. 24: ” And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb”. .

In his usual way of monitoring pregnant women, Pastor Oso called  the woman that was conceived with triplets  to find out how she was feeling but the woman said, she hadn’t been sleeping because, she wanted to avoid having the dream that usually terminates her pregnancy.

This made  the Daddy of a million babies to go into prayers.

God gave him an instruction to go and read a particular Psalm to the woman 100 times.  Promptly,  he moved to the woman’s residence at Lekki and took along his bottles of water  since the mouth could get dry.

He directed the pregnant woman to sit on a chair and  looking directly at her as he read the Psalm 100 times as divinely directed.

Beloved, that was the end of the challenge.  The woman carried the baby to term and delivered them safely in London.  This year, the triplets, two boys and a girl turn 10 years old to the glory of God.

Perhaps I should also mention, the case of a  female medical doctor  that took care of pregnant women but never conceived.

Being a regular reader of Joyful homes, she and her husband decided to come from Benin, Edo state to attend church programmes.

By this time, her marriage was already threatened.  Her husband had become impatient after they had lost a lot of money to medical tests that didn’t produce children.

Not long after they came, with attention from the G.O.  the woman got pregnant and gave birth to  a set of twins, two boys.

Brethren, God is awesome.   God is able to turn the tears of sorrow to tears of joy

Another amazing testimony is that of a woman that got married at the age of 62.   No one ever thought she would ever get married but God rose up for her and she got married.

There is also the testimony of a couple that was married for about 20 years.    While seeking medical attention, the woman had one of her ovaries removed.

So, she was left with one ovary.

At  a point God intervened in her situation and she conceived.

Behold she gave birth to a set of triplets, two boys and a girl.

Laughter  replaced tears in  home.

With God on your side, before this year ends, laughter would replace tears of sorrow in your life.

Pastor Moses Gbenga Oso the Daddy of a million babies has gone to be with the LORD but the joy that God used him to put in the lives of people in Nigeria and Overseas live forever.

Brethren, at a time like this or whenever a General of the LORD goes home, it isn’t time for tears of sorrow but a time to expect  amazing miracles from the LORD and remain steadfast to  the Lord.

It is  time to remind the LORD to bring to physical manifestation, the words of knowledge or words of wisdom released by the Holy Spirit and pronounced by the man of God.

Shalom!
