Nigerian singer and songwriter, Barry Jhay, has released the deluxe edition of his acclaimed body of work, Barrystar Volume 1 (Deluxe), expanding the project to 21 tracks and offering what industry watchers describe as one of his most mature musical deliveries yet.

The deluxe project, which builds on the success of the original album, reinforces Barry Jhay’s standing as a leading voice in contemporary Afrobeats, with his signature blend of Afro-fusion, Fuji influences and street soul remaining at the core of the sound.

One of the major highlights of the expanded edition is “Street Love” (Track 6) featuring Bella Shmurda, a song that captures the grit, resilience and passion associated with Nigeria’s street culture. Also notable is “Idirepete” (Track 9) featuring music legend I.K. Dairo, which pays homage to Barry Jhay’s Yoruba musical heritage while bridging traditional and modern rhythms.
