Achoja condemns killings in Ethiope West, demands security intervention

The Member representing Ethiope West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Blessing Achoja, has strongly condemned the renewed wave of senseless killings in the constituency.

In a statement personally signed by the Honourable, he totally condemns the brutal murder of Okuna Josephine, coming barely days after the assassination of the APC Youth Leader in the area.

“These are no longer isolated incidents. Our people are being kidnapped and killed almost on a daily basis. Women, youths, and community leaders are no longer safe. This is unacceptable,” Hon. Achoja said.

Hon. Blessing Achoja hereby calls on the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, the Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), Delta State, and all other security agencies to immediately swing into full action, fish out the perpetrators, and restore peace in Ethiope West.

“Enough is enough. The good people of Ethiope West deserve to live in peace.”

May the souls of Okuna Josephine, the late APC Youth Leader, and all others who have lost their lives rest in perfect peace.
