THE Tino Support Group, TSG, has distributed writing materials to pupils and students of primary and secondary schools in Olomoro community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Items distributed included thousands of exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, and other learning aids.

The donation, according to the Convener of the group, Comrade Vincent Oghenero Ejeh, was part of the group’s ongoing commitment to youth development, education, and grassroots empowerment.

Ejeh described education as the foundation of every progressive society, stressing that the gesture was in line with Governor Sheriff Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, which prioritizes human capital development.

“We believe that no child should be denied the tools of learning due to economic challenges. This donation is our way of investing in the future of Olomoro and contributing to the educational advancement of our people. Education remains the greatest legacy we can bequeath to the next generation, Tino said.

He further reaffirmed the TSG’s commitment to sustaining similar interventions across communities in Delta State and beyond, noting that grassroots empowerment remains central to the group’s objectives.

The event was greeted with excitement by pupils, parents, and teachers. Headteachers of the benefiting schools who commended the Tino Support Group for the kind gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.

Some of the parents expressed relief that the donation would help reduce the financial strain of purchasing learning materials, especially at a time of economic hardship.

Schools that benefited from the distribution included Olomoro Primary School, Owholoemu Primary School, Awhotu Primary School, Udueni Primary School and Olomoro Secondary School.
