In a video on social media, Shina Rambo, who is a popular figure in the entertainment industry and son of current Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, shared his excitement after visiting the restaurant, which specializes in bringing bold Nigerian flavors to London.

“What’s up my people, it’s your boy Shina Rambo. Live at Ivory Seasons restaurant in London, trust me their Nigerian specials are muah, the drink 10 out of 10, the food 10 out of 10. You are going to love it, you have to check it out,” he said, giving the spot his stamp of approval.

The endorsement from such a prominent figure adds to the growing popularity of Ivory Seasons, which opened its doors officially on August 1, 2025. The restaurant, located just two minutes from Hawson Station on Creamer Street and a short 10-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station in London, United Kingdom, has already cultivated a loyal following. The combination of flavourful West African cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere is winning over both the West African diaspora and adventurous food lovers alike in the UK.

Owned by a Nigerian but managed by Indian Varun Gupta, Ivory Seasons sets itself apart by fusing traditional Nigerian flavours with contemporary twists, creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Despite the common challenges faced by new businesses, particularly in the competitive London hospitality industry, Ivory Seasons has swiftly made its mark with its bold culinary approach and innovative cuisines.

Among the standout dishes are the Calamari, Peri Peri Wings, Joke Prawn Toast, Yaji Beef Skewer, and Lamb Ribs. The classic egusi, a Nigerian soup made with ground melon seeds, is also a fan favorite, demonstrating the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity while incorporating modern culinary techniques.

The response to the restaurant has been overwhelmingly positive, with guests raving not only about the flavours but also the friendly service and vibrant atmosphere that mirrors the energy of Nigerian culture.

As more foodies and families make their way to Ivory Seasons, it seems this exciting new spot is on track to become a staple in London’s ever-evolving food scene. With Shina Rambo’s high praise, it is clear that the restaurant is already on its way to being a must-visit for anyone craving the taste of Nigeria served with a fresh and modern flair.
