Radisson Hotel Group has emerged as a standout performer at the recently concluded 2025 Hotel Managers Conference, Africa, with multiple awards recognising its Nigerian properties and leadership team.
Two of its flagship hotels in Lagos took home top honors. Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, Victoria Island was named Best Luxury Hospitality Experience in Nigeria, while Radisson Blu Hotel, Lagos Ikeja earned the title of Best in Hotel Operations in the country. Both awards underscore the Group’s reputation for exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
In the individual recognition category, Rita Opiah, General Manager of Park Inn by Radisson Hotel Lagos Victoria Island, and Yehia El-Mansoury, General Manager of Radisson Hotel Lagos Ikeja, were both recipients of the Hospitality Impact Award. This accolade celebrates leadership in sustainability and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices within the hospitality industry.
All awards were determined by a panel of seasoned industry experts who reviewed candidates based on service quality, innovation, and community impact.
Ahmed Raza, District Director of Radisson Hotel Group in Nigeria, praised the achievements saying: “These wins reflect our ongoing commitment to service excellence, innovation, and sustainability. They are a testament to the passion and dedication of our teams who continue to raise the bar for hospitality standards in Nigeria.”
Raza also commended the individual awardees for setting a new benchmark in responsible hospitality leadership.
The recognition marks yet another milestone for Radisson Hotel Group in Nigeria, highlighting its consistent focus on guest satisfaction, operational innovation, and leadership development in one of Africa’s most competitive hospitality markets.
