Warri’s achievements far above expectations – Agbanashi

Former National President of the National Association of Delta State Students (NADESSTU), Comrade  Ralph Agbanashi, has lauded the developmental strides of the Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State, Comrade Friday Ovoke Warri, saying that the council boss’ achievements “in a very short time” were far above expectations.

Agbanashi, in a statement, said Warri was already being dubbed an ‘action man’ who is delivering a whirlwind of improvements that are leaving residents genuinely impressed.

He said: “From the moment you step into the council secretariat, Warri’s impact is undeniable. The gates have been completely remodelled, offering a fresh, modern welcome.

“Inside, years of neglect are being undone as the reconstruction of abandoned structures, particularly the modern secretariat administrative complex, is now in full swing.

“Even the dilapidated local government chairman’s lodge has received a much-needed facelift, signaling a renewed commitment to effective governance.”

Describing Warri as a hands-on leader, he said the council chairman was consistently present at the council and actively engaged in the daily business of governance.

“His leadership has been instrumental in resolving inter-communal disputes, de-escalating protests, and bolstering security for life and property – often through a potent blend of dialogue and security force support.

“Residents are particularly thrilled with his swift intervention in repairing critical road networks. Failed portions of key routes like Ogbemudia Road and Irri-Oyede Road have been fixed, bringing much-needed relief to commuters and facilitating trade.

“Beyond infrastructure, Warri’s responsiveness was evident during the recent cholera outbreak in Ikpide-Irri, where his decisive actions helped contain the situation and save numerous lives.

Looking to the future, he’s already sowing the seeds of prosperity with the launch of a pilot farm, a vital step towards rejuvenating agriculture and ensuring food security across Isoko South.

“Warri’s ability to forge robust working relationships with various government arms and leaders has further smoothed the path for development, all for the benefit of the Isoko people.

“The people are happy and Warri is tirelessly striving to bring even ‘MORE developments’ to his people,” he said.
