ABUJA – THE founder of Pixxel Factory, King Martins, has disclosed moves to change the narrative in the creative industry with Llayers in Lagos.

Martins as a Creative Director and photographer who specializes in beauty, fashion, and commercial photography, shared the inspiration and strategy behind his passion for the creative industry whose work focuses on creating compelling visuals that help brands tell their stories with clarity and style explained that the platform was designed to simplify and monetize the creative process for individuals and businesses in the industry.

He also recently launched Llayers, a new arm of Pixxel Factory dedicated to producing exquisite and unique canvas backdrops that elevate the visual output of photographers and videographers.

According to him, the launch featured interactive sets that allowed creative professionals to test the backdrops in real-time. The event also welcomed members of the public who wanted to capture beautiful moments and create lasting memories.

He said: “We want to inspire. We want to equip. We want every creative, from professionals to everyday people to feel like they have access to something world-class. Llayers is here to change the way we create, one backdrop at a time.

“The launch of Llayers took place on May 25 at Pixxel Factory. It wasn’t just an event, it was an experience.

“It was a celebration of creativity, community, and the power of visuals done right.”

Describing the Llayers canvas backdrop brand, Martins said it is all about depth, visually, emotionally, and creatively.

“Each backdrop is designed to add dimension to storytelling, transforming ordinary shots into bold, expressive images.

“We are building more than a product, we’re setting a standard. Our goal is to take Llayers from Lagos to the world and become the go-to canvas backdrop brand for African creatives and beyond”, he said.

He also explained that Llayers aims to empower storytellers with tools that meet global standards, ensuring that African creatives no longer have to look outside the continent for top-quality materials.

“This is just the beginning of a much bigger ecosystem.

“Our backdrops directly benefit photographers and videographers by enhancing the quality of their content, giving them world-class visuals that are export-ready and globally competitive.”

According to him, as the work of local creatives reaches wider audiences, new opportunities for creative exports from Nigeria will emerge.

“As the brand grows, we will definitely need more hands on deck. It is all about growing a creative community that also creates real work opportunities”, he said.
