Amuwo Odofin chairmanship candidate promises to prioritise road repair

The Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Prince Lanre Sanusi, popularly called PLS, has unveiled his master plan to improve the lives of the residents and as well unite all the political gladiators within the party system in Amuwo Odofin Local Government.

If elected in the July 12, 2025, Local Government polls, Sanusi listed road revamping as a priority.

Unveiling the developmental agenda while addressing Journalists in Festac Town, PLS sought the media industry’s cooperation and support before, during, and after the election.

Fielding questions from journalists on his plan to transform Amuwo Odofin, Sanusi assured residents and the general public of an accelerated revamping of the major and inner roads in Festac Town and the creation of vocational centers in the Festac, Abule Ado, and Mile 2 areas of the council.

While commending the media experts for projecting the ideology and performances of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, he described them as “friends and partners” in progressing the development of the local government, having extended a hand of fellowship to them to join him in building a formidable Amuwo Odofin Community.

The chairmanship candidate expressed confidence in Tinubu’s administration’s Ability to restore prosperity to the country through the “Renewed Hope Agenda.”

According to him, Tinubu will be re-elected to complete the ongoing good work and transformations of the nation’s socio-economic system, which has received global commendations. “I hereby call on Nigerians to keep supporting and cooperating with the administration as there is light at the end of the tunnel around the corner.”

Sanusi, a political leader with a wealth of excellence in project management, public service, community leadership, resource mobilization, and revenue generation, deeply understands the challenges facing the Amuwo Community and the holistic solutions needed to turn them into fortunes.

Part of the plans of PLS, which he revealed during the media chat with journalists, was the repositioning of Festac Town as a modern cultural and creative economic hub, launching of the Amuwo Odofin cultural festivals to attract tourism and investments while collaborating with Lagos State’s Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism to develop a Creative Enterprise Park and also empowering local artisans, fashion designers, film producers, and musicians to thrive through grants, training, and global exposure.
