Amarachi Joy challenges prophetic cynicism with new song

By Juliet Ebirim

Renowned gospel minister Evangelist Amarachi Joy Mbakwe has released her latest single, “God of the Prophets,” a powerful and timely message aimed at reaffirming belief in genuine prophecy amidst widespread skepticism. Amarachi Joy, known for her evergreen hit “Favour Room,” asserts that her new song is a divine instruction to remind believers that “God is still using real prophets.”

The Imo-born evangelist expressed concern over the diminishing faith in prophecy. “So many people no longer believe in prophecy. But that’s dangerous. We’ve allowed fake prophets to distract us from the real vessels God is still using.” she stated.

In an era grappling with spiritual discernment, “God of the Prophets” is a melodic rebuke of cynicism, aimed at providing a much-needed authentic voice.

Amarachi Joy views her music as a sacred assignment, not mere entertainment. “I get my songs from dreams, trances, and serious prayer. I don’t write from vibes. I write from the Spirit.”

While her two other new singles: “See How Beautiful Jesus Can Be” and “Onye Dika Chi”, offer offer deep spiritual reflections, “God of the Prophets” is undoubtedly the track generating the most significant buzz and conversation.
