As Christians around the world commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ this Easter weekend, The Love of God in Christ (L.O.G.I.C.) Church, popularly known as The Logic Church—hosted its maiden gospel music concert titled Jesus+Nothing, a soul-stirring celebration of faith through music.
Held at 4 p.m. today at the church auditorium located at Block 115, T.F. Kuboye Road, by The Podium Event Centre, Marwa Bus Stop, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, the concert brought together a vibrant mix of worship, spiritual reflection, and celebration, marking what promises to become an annual highlight on the Christian music calendar.
At a press conference ahead of the event, Lead Pastor and Apostolic Head, Dr. Flourish Peters, spoke passionately about the inspiration behind the concert. “The Jesus+Nothing Worship Music Concert gives us a beautiful opportunity to reflect on the sacrificial love of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, fully expressed through His death and resurrection. This year, we reflect on His Crown of Righteousness (Revelation 14:14). You will surely be blessed as you join us,” he said.
The concert was designed not just as a musical showcase but as a platform to push the gospel message in an unconventional and heartfelt way. “In a passionate and energetic atmosphere, a diverse lineup of artists came together to celebrate the power of redemption through God’s grace. We are not just singing songs, we’re spreading a message of hope and salvation,” Dr. Peters emphasized.
He described the experience as “lyrical theology”, a method of teaching and ministering the gospel through powerful lyrics. “Whether you’re jumping, shouting, or worshipping quietly, the most important thing is that you’re hearing about Jesus.”
The evening was more than just entertainment, it was a spiritual experience. “Every time the gospel is preached, whether through song or word, it opens a door for someone to receive Jesus. The music might be fun and exciting, but its purpose is to change lives,” he said. “When the gospel is preached right, it nourishes the soul, like enjoying a plate of delicious fried rice.”
With this fresh approach, The Logic Church continues to merge creativity with purpose, faith with artistry, and worship with impact. The mission is clear: to change lives, draw people closer to Christ, and keep the gospel alive and thriving through every available medium.
One of the featured artists, multi-talented singer Timi Dakolo, passionately spoke about God’s immeasurable love. “By God’s grace, He is a Father, and we, His kids, just need to believe and receive. Salvation is an automatic ticket to enjoy the benefits of redemption,” he declared.
Gospel artist Neon Adejo echoed this sentiment, stressing the power of the gospel to transform lives. “This event isn’t just for the moment, it’s about encouraging people to carry this message into the world,” he said.
The concert featured a stellar lineup of music ministers, including Pastor Victor Paul, Mera Owili, Noble G, Greatman Takit, Victor Thompson, Gerard, Lee Perez, SMJ, Mag Psalms, Danza, Goldcast, Anderson, Emeka, Phoebe, Melanie, and Jodie, each bringing their unique sound to create an electrifying and worshipful atmosphere where Christ remained the central focus.
As one attendee beautifully summarized, “The gospel song is the gospel song, it reveals the way Christ manifests Himself.” Through Jesus+Nothing, The Logic Church delivered more than music, they delivered the message of redemption, loud and clear.
