
The Oritsegbegbemi Maurice Ojo-Ede (OMO) Foundation has expanded its charitable endeavors to the Akingbile Moniya community in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Foundation distributed free Ramadan starter packs, solar lights, and building materials to support Muslim faithful during the sacred month of Ramadan.
The event commenced with the distribution of Ramadan starter packs, containing essential food items such as rice, beans, spaghetti, noodles, garri, semovita, and cooking oil. This ensured that families had the necessary provisions to begin their fasts.
Recognizing the importance of sustainable energy, the Foundation also provided solar lights to the mosque, offering an eco-friendly solution to improve living conditions during the holy month. Furthermore, building materials were distributed to assist in the development and renovation of the community mosque, fostering unity and progress.
Community leaders expressed profound gratitude for the Foundation’s timely intervention. The IMAM remarked, “The OMO Foundation’s support has brought light into our homes and hope into our hearts during this blessed month.”
This sentiment echoed throughout the community, highlighting the positive impact of the Foundation’s efforts.
