The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications to the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi, has said that their PDP elected members in the National Assembly and state legislators are not dormant, as alleged.

Dingyadi said in an interview, that lawmakers of PDP extraction,were performing well in their constituencies, better than those of the APC.

He said it was wrong for the APC to be making utterances capable of destroying political unity, cohesion and peace.

” They are becoming desperate to recruit other party supporters by coercing them into their group, which is a threat to democratic institutions in Nigeria,” he alleged.

“Our elected nembers of the National Assembly and those for the state, will never be liabilities..”

“You cannot manipulate our political success by sponsoring propagandists attacking our performing elected legislators or showcasing decampees in a sponsored arena.”

“Despite the threats of political propaganda and intimidation against them, they are far better and politically active, performing wonderfully in their constituencies.”

“Our elected members of the National Assembly and those for the state will never be a liability … They will not abandon the good cause of sustaining development…”He said.
