Educators are gearing up for the highly anticipated second edition of the “Paradigm Shift for Educators” conference, set to take place on February 17-18, at the ENUMERICAL CENTRE in Satellite Town, Lagos State.
The theme for this year’s event, “Teaching for Tomorrow: Preparing for an Ever-Changing World,” aims to empower educators with the necessary skills and strategies to navigate today’s dynamic educational landscape.
The convener of the conference, and the Visioner, Paradigm Shift and Lead Consultant, Greenville Accuturate, Muolagbone Innocent stated, “We want to inspire educators to see their self-worth and take pride in what they do. By providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, we can create a ripple effect that benefits not just the educators, but also their students and the wider community.”
This year’s conference responds to the urgent need for adaptability among educators, given the rapid technological advancements and diverse needs of learners. The agenda promises an exploration of innovative teaching methodologies that move away from traditional practices. Focus areas will include critical thinking, differentiated instruction, and student-centered learning environments.
Attendees can look forward to sessions led by a lineup of esteemed speakers, including President of ANPEIN and an early childhood education advocate, Dr. Fowowe Simeon Sunday; a leadership training expert, Dr. Adedamola Israel Olofa, and a champion for critical thinking in education, Dr. Leo Igwe. Other featured speakers include educational technology specialist Isaac Joseph and leadership expert Ndudi Abili.
“The conference will be a turning point for many educators,” Mrs. Innocent emphasised. “It’s about creating a movement towards reshaping education and inspiring the next generation.”
Participants will have opportunities for networking, interactive discussions, and hands-on workshops covering key topics such as leveraging educational technology, meeting diverse learning needs, and fostering a growth mindset among educators.
