Ife Akinmoyo, granddaughter of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, recently released a new documentary titled “OBJ Unscripted.”
The documentary which premiered at EbonyLife Place, Lagos, offers a unique and intimate look into the everyday life of the former president and Head of State.
Prior to the screening, an exclusive roundtable discussion held between the ex-president and a group of select youth leaders. The insightful engagement provided a platform for the youths to connect with one of the country’s influential leaders, gaining valuable ideas and inspiration.
Speaking about the project, Ife Akinmoyo explained, “I wanted to show people a different side of my grandfather, beyond his role as a global leader and politician. In ‘OBJ Unscripted,’ viewers will see him as a regular man, playing squash and simply enjoying life. However, the documentary also highlights how his responsibilities as a statesman continue to shape every aspect of his life.” “My grandfather embodies a sense of urgency in everything he does. He believes in seizing the day and making the most of every moment. I hope this documentary inspires others to pursue their own God-given gifts and dreams with the same passion and determination.” Ife added.
