Aggital Works, a leading digital development agency, has officially opened its new office in the bustling side of Aja, Lagos, and poised to make an even greater impact in Nigeria’s digital landscape.

The grand opening, held on January 17, 2025, at B4-313 HFP Eastline Shopping Complex, Abraham Adesanya, Ajah, marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey and highlights its commitment to providing innovative digital solutions in Nigeria.

According to the company’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Oghoghozino Otefia, he said the new office is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and productivity, offering a dynamic environment for both clients and employees, adding that the expansion is part of Aggital Works’ strategic plan to enhance its services, grow its footprint, and better serve the digital industry.

Speaking at the opening and as well reflecting on the company’s humble beginnings in 2016, Otefia shared how determination and innovation turned a small startup into a thriving agency.

He said, “We are thrilled to welcome our clients and partners to our new space. We started from my home, then moved to a rented space. Today, we own our office. It’s been a journey of hard work, faith, and perseverance, and we thank God for how far we’ve come.”

In addition,  he mentioned that over the years, Aggital Works has earned a reputation for helping businesses embrace the digital age. “A breakthrough came when the company successfully delivered a project for a major client who initially doubted our capabilities. That project changed everything. The client became one of our biggest supporters, and it showed the importance of persistence and quality work,” Otefia said.

He also noted that the agency’s flagship product, Ushoppen, is a game-changer for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), that enables businesses to create websites, list products, and manage sales without technical expertise. “Our mission is to make digital tools accessible and affordable for SMEs. Unlike other platforms, we don’t charge transaction fees, giving businesses the freedom to grow without financial strain,” Otefia explained, adding that the company’s ambitious plans for Ushoppen, aiming to reach five million users within five years while expanding SMEs across Nigeria and exploring new industries, including real estates.

He acknowledged the challenges the company faced in its early days while training friends and family to save costs, and as well called on the government to provide support for the tech industry. “The digital industry in Nigeria is mostly self-funded. We rely heavily on foreign investments, which shouldn’t be the case. The government should invest in local talent and provide incentives to drive innovation and economic growth,” Otefia said.

Also speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Austine Dairo congratulated the Aggital Works team, describing the milestone as “marvelous in our sight.” He noted that the event celebrated teamwork, resilience, and faith, inspiring attendees with the company’s strong values and vision for the future.
