Fortune Family of Friends Club (FFOFC), a social club and non-governmental organization, embarked on a heartfelt outreach program aimed at bringing joy and relief to more than 100 widows and widowers in a community on the eve of Christmas. This initiative is a cornerstone of the club’s mission to uplift and support the less privileged and downtrodden. The event took place at the Rivascourt in Majek, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.

Speaking on the outreach, the President of the Club, Gerald Azonobo, said, “Our team of dedicated members worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this outreach. We distributed essential food supplies and gave cash to the beneficiaries, who were overwhelmed with gratitude. The event was a testament to the power of kindness and generosity. This outreach is a beacon of hope for those who have lost loved ones. We believe that every individual deserves dignity, love, and support, especially during the holiday seasons. By providing for their physical and emotional needs, we hope to inspire a sense of belonging and renewal.

Continuing, Azonobo said, “As a social club, we are committed to making a positive impact in our community. Our widows and widowers Outreach is an annual tradition that we hold dear, and we look forward to continuing this initiative for years to come”.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our members, donors, and volunteers who made this outreach possible. Your selflessness and generosity have brought joy to the hearts of many, and we are honored to have you as part of our community. As we celebrate the true spirit of Christmas, we are reminded that kindness, compassion, and generosity can transform lives. We invite you to join us in our mission to uplift and support the vulnerable members of our community. Together, we can create a brighter, more loving world for all”.

She said that the Fortune Family of Friends Club founded in 2016, is a duly registered non-governmental organization with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Club’s members are professionals, businessmen, entrepreneurs, politicians and good ambassadors who are vested in the service to humanity, community growth and civic duties to enhance a better society irrespective of race, religion or tribe.
