The Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Kaduna State, Hon. Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha, has said that the approval of N72,000 minimum wage in Kaduna State was a demonstration of Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to addressing workers’ welfare in the state.

Speaking in an interview, Hon. Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha who is also the State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) , lauded the minimum wage pronouncement and commended the Governor for recognizing the need to review the current minimum wage with the present economic situation.

“The welfare of workers is paramount, I trust that the pronouncements by the Governor will motivate workers in the State to put in their best for the progress of the State,” he said.

The IPAC Chairman, expressed satisfaction with the governor’s approval, stressing that the move demonstrated a strong sense of solidarity with the workers in the state.

“Mr Governor has shown that he is with the workers in the state and I advised our workers to reciprocate this gesture by dedicating themselves to their respective duties.”

” Governor Uba Sani has proved to be labour-friendly and welcomes every move that will better the lives of Kaduna State workers and it’s citizens.”

“We believe this is in line with his SUSTAIN Agenda which will lead to human capital development in the state, “he said .
