A foundation, NerdzFactory is set to launch Boost Your Business, BYB, Workshop, a transformative initiative designed to empower women and youth-led Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs, across Nigeria.

Director, NerdzFactory Foundation, Ademulegun Olowojoba, who disclosed this said, the program aimed to provide participants with essential business skills to ensure their sustainability and growth in Nigeria’s challenging economic landscape.
According to Olowojoba, “Women and youth-led businesses are crucial drivers of economic growth in Nigeria, yet they face numerous challenges such as limited access to finance, digital tools, and business development resources.

“The BYB Workshop seeks to address these challenges by offering workshop sessions that will equip up to 5,000 participants with the skills they need to thrive in today’s competitive market.

“The training will focus on key areas such as mastering sales strategies, financial planning and budgeting, digital marketing, staffing and team management, business compliance, and innovation adoption, all essential for the growth and sustainability of small businesses”.

Stressing the significance of the initiative, he stated, “The Boost Your Business Workshop is a crucial step towards empowering women and youth entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

“By equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge, we are not only helping them navigate the challenges they face but also fostering innovation and growth within their communities.

“This initiative reflects our commitment to driving sustainable development and economic empowerment for the next generation of business leaders.

“The workshop, which will run from October to December 2024, is part of NerdzFactory Foundation’s ongoing mission to promote human capital development and innovation across Nigeria.

“Participants will benefit from practical, hands-on sessions delivered by industry experts, equipping them with tools and strategies to scale their businesses. Post-workshop support will be provided to help participants implement and sustain the knowledge gained during the training.

“With the goal of reaching participants nationwide, the Boost Your Business Workshop will be delivered online, ensuring accessibility for entrepreneurs from every region. Participants will also have access to mentorship opportunities and business resources to foster innovation and help them grow their ventures in a competitive business landscape.”
