Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State; Chairman, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, Abdul Saliu and Dr. Lois Adams, are among other dignitaries to grace the coronation ceremony of the newly crowned Aidonogie II of South Ibie Kingdom, HRM Umoru Inusa Umoru, Esako West Local Government Area of the state.

According to a statement, the event is slated for October 25, 2024 in Iyakpi, South Ibie Kingdom, Edo State.

Recall that there had been battle for the throne spanning over 20 years between two ruling houses over the rightful candidate.

Other guests expected include state Commissioner for Local Government, Community and Chieftaincy Affairs, Monday Osaigbovo; Paschal Ugbome, Chairman Etsako West LGA, Muhtzu Marvelous.

Others are: Mike Oghlademhe, Dr. Awa Ibraheem, Otunba Olusola Adekanola, while the father of the Day is The Ilelebe III, Otaru of Auchi, HRH, Aliru Momoh.

Also to grace the occasion are other traditional rulers, family members, community leaders, friends, well-wishers, among other eminent personalities.

The Edo State Government had recently presented staff of office to Umoru in compliance with the Supreme Court judgment as the authentic candidate of Oghiator Ruling Family.
