The Archdeacon of Oyi Anglican Church and Vicar of St. James’ Parish, Awkuzu, in Oyi local government area of Anambra State, Venerable David Arinze Ajaefobi has been kidnapped by unidentified individuals.

It was gathered that the cleric was abducted at the entrance gate of the church.

A report from the church said no contact has been established with the abductors.

When contacted for comment, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga said the police had not received any report of the incident.
