The Alimosho Event Vendors Association (AEVA) hosted the fourth edition of her annual MasterClass, Expose 4.0, with the theme “Thriving in a tough economy.”
According to a statement, the event held recently in Lagos, brought together professional event vendors from across Alimosho Local Government in Lagos State, providing a unique opportunity for networking, learning and growth.
In her opening remarks, AEVA President and CEO of Dore Event Concept, Eunice Iwu-Basil, underscored the masterclass objective, saying: “Our goal is to facilitate meaningful connections among experts and provide access to the latest industry trends.”
The event, chaired by Mrs. Aminat Jimba of Series Event, implored all participants to take advantage of the masterclass to learn ways to navigate the economy and scale their businesses.
AEVA’s president further noted the theme’s relevance, given the current economic climate, which she said also prompted the carefully curated lineup of speakers.
She said: “AEVA’s Xpose 4.0 demonstrates its dedication to empowering event professionals with the knowledge, skills, and networking opportunities necessary to thrive in a challenging economy.”
In his session, Mr. Onye Ubanatu, a seasoned creative entrepreneur, delivered an insightful presentation titled “Thriving in a Tough Economy,” where he emphasized the importance of embracing innovation, growth, and confidence to succeed in challenging times.
Ubanatu stressed that by adopting these principles, event professionals can position themselves as thought leaders and stay ahead of the curve.
Folake Rolat-Abiola, a prolific content creation expert, shared valuable insights on building workable content and strategic storytelling. Her presentation equipped attendees with practical tips to enhance their content creation skills.
The event marked a significant milestone for AEVA, as new members were inducted into the association.
Industry personalities who graced the event includes, AEVA Board of Trustee, Chairperson, Mrs.Taiwo Awojoodu CEO Sellyrite Event, Mrs. Fumbi Akinyosoye, President, APPOEMN, both lending credibility to AEVA’s commitment to excellence. Others are representatives of event industry associations such as RSPN, ASSEV, APFSN, Neba among others.
