Chants of “Dambe Warriors! Dambe Warriors !” echoed far into the night at the Velodrome, Abuja throughout SuperFight 03 at held on September 15th.

Tourists from around the country, in addition to thousands of residents, packed the refurbished stadium to the brim in order to witness Nigeria’s own traditional martial art and cultural heritage.

Six fighters battled and won promotion into the Dambe Warriors League for next season, while three other warriors were crowned champions of Season 03.

The sellout crowd included representatives from the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy and the Federal Ministry of Tourism which have each formally endorsed Dambe Warriors.
