The United States is set to host the prestigious Copa America 2024, starting on June 20. Argentina, the defending champions led by Lionel Messi, will open the tournament against Canada.

This 48th edition of the world’s oldest international football competition will run from June 20 to July 14.

The United States is hosting the event for the second time, with the first instance being in 2016. Originally, Ecuador was slated to host this year’s tournament as part of CONMEBOL’s rotation schedule.
