Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church , Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, has declared that only God could transform  man to take after His desired nature.

Pastor Kumuyi stated this, Wednesday,  during a chat with newsmen at Aba Mega Mall, beside Aba New Park, Osisioma, off Enugu Port Harcourt Expressway, venue of his five-day gospel crusade scheduled for April 25 – 30.

He explained that no matter how much man tried to make some external changes on his own powers, only God could truly transform the inner man into a desirable and glorious nature.

” Only God can bring joy, glory and transformation to lives”, Kumuyi declared, while urging Abia residents to take advantage of the gospel outreach to be regenerated.

He said that God would surpass the expectations of the people during the five-day evangelist outreach being organised by Deeper Life in Church in conjunction with the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Abia State chapter; and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.

Pastor Kumuyi who came to Abia in the company of his wife, Esther and other members of his evangelistic team, said that God had not changed in his business of working miracles, declaring that there will be a harvest of miracles during the outreach as God would intervene in the various needs of the people.

Responding to a question on the impact of his global missionary outreaches, the Deeper Life GS said, a lot of tremendous successes were being recorded.

” Lives are being changed. We see tremendous things. We never expected the amount of healings we see in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.”

He noted that evangelism is God’s mandate, adding that God has always fully identified with him.

” It’s God’s dream, and He is doing much more than we could have achieved on our own”.

Deeper Life State Pastors from all five South Eastern States were present during the media chat.

The state Chairman of CAN, Bishop Ojo Ojo Uduma; and his PFN counterpart, Bishop Chikezie Elekwa, were also present during the media parley.

Pastor Kumuyi, was two years ago,  scheduled for a similar religious visit to Abia but had to shelve the visit following a security alert.

Abia has since witnessed a significant improvement in security of lives and property.

Meanwhile, enthusiastic members of the church including members of Deeper Life Christian Coppers gave a rousing welcome to the GS and his entourage, while  security operatives were observed in their numbers at the venue.
