Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice is upbeat about his team’s prospects of clinching the Premier League title this season, despite a setback in their recent match against Aston Villa.
The Gunners suffered a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday, a result that kept them trailing behind reigning champions Manchester City in the league standings.
However, Rice insisted that Arsenal still have a fighting chance in the title race.
Rice said: “It’s not over yet. We’re in an unbelievable position. We’re still ready, we’re still fully focused on what we want to do and what we can achieve”.
“There’s going to be many more twists and turns in the Premier League. Anything can happen”.
Arsenal is gearing up for a pivotal clash in the UEFA Champions League as they prepare to face Bayern Munich in the second leg of their quarter-final tie.
