Fans are worried sick about sensational gospel singer Mercy Chinwo for the series of attacks she has been facing in recent times. What has she done? Recall how social media went into a frenzy with the viral photo of her son and stories about how the baby resembles her colleague, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey. The matter is being handled as the perpetrators of that ugly story were arrested and the case taken to court.

A few days ago, she was brought into the news again for another bombshell which her fans refused to believe. Many have sworn that these are all attacks from the pit of hell. In a viral post, with the headline, “Unpaid Royalties: Producer of Mercy Chinwo’s Hit Songs Dr Roy, Breaks Down in Tears” as seen on Mikemoore’s page, this guy alleged that he “produced all of Mercy Chinwo’s hit songs, worked day and night, but to this day, I haven’t received my royalties…”

How’s that possible? Why bring it to the media for hurricane social media to spread it all over the world even if it’s true? Are there no more appropriate means of addressing issues again? Fine, the guy did a video after his interview went viral. In the video, he corrected that he wasn’t calling out Mercy Chinwo but the Record Label.

Well, the deed was done already. Besides, his ‘point of correction’ in the new video does not seem enough to make people believe him. He even contradicted himself when telling the story of what transpired between him and Mercy when he had a family challenge.
