Cuban denounces ‘US-based terror groups’ encouraging actions against internal order

The Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel has strongly condemned U.S.-based terrorist groups for inciting actions against the internal order of the country amidst ongoing challenges.

The Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel has strongly condemned U.S.-based terrorist groups for inciting actions against the internal order of the country amidst ongoing challenges.

The President said the exploitation of the current difficult situation in Cuba by these groups to sow discord and unrest.

President Diaz-Canel, addressing the nation via social media X, expressed concern over the dissatisfaction among some citizens regarding the national power service deficit and food distribution issues.

He said that “these concerns are being manipulated by enemies of the Cuban revolution to create instability and chaos within the country.”

President Diaz-Canel reiterated the government’s commitment to addressing the needs and grievances of the Cuban people.

He emphasized a proactive approach by the authorities of the Communist Party of Cuba, the State, and the Government to engage with citizens, explain ongoing initiatives, and work towards resolving challenges in a peaceful manner.

“In the last few hours, we have seen how terrorists based in the United States, whom we have denounced on several occasions, have encouraged actions against the country’s internal peace and order.

“The willingness of the authorities of the Communist Party of Cuba, the State and the Government is to attend to the demands of our people, listen, talk, explain the numerous steps being taken to come out of the current hardships, always in an atmosphere of tranquillity,” he said.

The President reaffirmed that “in the midst of the conditions of a U.S. blockade that intends to suffocate us, we will continue working in peace to get out of this situation.”

Despite facing external pressures, including a U.S. blockade, President Diaz-Canel affirmed his administration’s dedication to navigating through these hardships while maintaining peace and stability.

He reassured the public that efforts are underway to overcome current difficulties through dialogue and collective action.
