A Member of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Daniel Oga Ogazi has urged president Ahmed Tinubu to toe the part of redemption, change the narrative in providing good governance for Nigerians.
The Lawmaker who blamed the current hardship in the country to accumulated bad governance, mismanagement of the nation’s resources, manipulation of the system over the years said the only way out is for president Ahmed Tinubu to stamp his feet and ensure that things are done rightly.
Oga Ogazi who represent Kokona East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, also attributed the increasing rate of hardship and the cost of living being faced by Nigerians to misappropriation, cutting corners and negative attitudes of Nigerians.
Speaking while playing host to his supporters from Lafia North Development Area in Lafia, the parliamentarian observed that the way out of the present predicament of the country is for all and Sundry to restore the eroded value systems of the country.
“And see unity as a bending force to change the narrative of the country and as people we most exhibit true love,” he said.
“when we have true love, we will not engage in all sorts of negativities such as killing, kidnapping, rubbery, holding of goods and food items, unnecessary increase of price of goods and other wicked acts been exhibited by people opon their fellow being
” It is not about President Tinubu, it is not about Governor Abdullahi Sule, it is about we changing our attitudes positively but the leaders and the followers” Ogazi said.
Ogazi who appreciated his supporters for the visit, assured of quality representation in the House at all times, continued commitment to better the standard of living of the people of his constituency and others.
He urged them and other people of the state to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live peacefully with one another for development to thrive.
“If you believe in God that he has power over everything, what ever you get or you did not get is all his will, then you will have peace and the society will be better for it” Hon. Ogazi added.
The lawmaker used the medium to appeal to the people of Nasarawa State, especially farmers and traders to be considerate in increasing the price of food items and goods so as not to cause unnecessary hardship to residents.
Earlier, Patron of the Ogazi Support Group Shabu and Overseer of Lafia North Development Area, Yahuza Adamu Nataallah and Chairman of the Forum, Mohammed Nassiru said they were in the House to appreciate the lawmaker for his contributions to Shabu community in Lafia Noth Development Area.
They also gave Ambassador of Peace award to Hon Ogazi for his efforts in championing peace and unity in the House and the outside society.
