A performance by pop icon singer, Rihanna is one of the highlights expected at the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant as Indian billionaire, Mukesh Ambani is set to go all out for his son.

The grand three-day Indian event is set to begin in Gujarat on March 1 and promises to be a star-studded extravaganza.

An online video of the Rihanna arriving in India has gone viral.

Rihanna is among the other prominent artistes including Indian artistes Arijit Singh and Diljit Dosanjh in the lineup, who will enthrall the guests with her performance at the grand event.

The head of Indian conglomerate Reliance and Asia’s richest man with a net worth of $114 billion according to Forbes, Ambani is known for never doing a party by halves.

Even though the wedding is not happening until July, the celebrations officially started on Wednesday night when Anant and his to-be-wife fed 51,000 people a communal dinner for the local villagers.

Bill Gates (META.O) is likely to attend Anant’s pre-wedding celebration. According to two persons with firsthand knowledge of the plans who declined to be identified per Reuters, Mark Zuckerberg, fellow Indian billionaires Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla, and several cricketers and Bollywood film stars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are among those expected.

Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, is also expected to attend. On Wednesday, the company announced a $8.5 billion merger of its India media holdings with Reliance.

Anant is a director of Reliance’s new energy division and one of Ambani’s three children, who will inherit his empire. Merchant is a director of India’s Encore Healthcare.

Indian billionaire Ambani also made headlines for his daughter Isha’s wedding in 2018.

Recall Rihanna gave birth to a baby boy in August 2023.

The singer and her spouse A$AP Rocky have finally revealed the name for their second son: Riot Rose Mayers.

Rihanna and Rocky already have a son together, RZA Athelston Mayers, who was born in May 2022.

While the inspiration for the name isn’t clear, speculations are strong that it could be an homage to A$AP Rocky’s recent song Riot, which featured Pharrell Williams.

Rihanna has said previously that becoming a mother has made her feel she can “take on the world”.
