The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Southwest Zone D has expressed its unwavering confidence in Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, saying his tenure has brought significant improvement in the agencies under the supervision of the minister.

According to Comrade Alao John, the Coordinator, Comrade Sanni Sulaimon Olamide, Secretary, and Comrade Bamigboye Peter Oluwadamilola, the Public Relations Officer, Tunji-Ojo’s tenure has been characterized by a series of groundbreaking achievements that have not only reshaped the landscape of service delivery but also ushered in policy reforms, placing the welfare of Nigerian citizens at the forefront.

“Under Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo’s leadership, the Ministry of Interior has witnessed notable developments, including innovative approaches to service delivery and policy reformations. The commitment to placing the welfare of Nigerian citizens as a top priority is evident in various initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of the people.

“One significant accomplishment has been the introduction of streamlined processes for obtaining passports, emphasizing efficiency and ease of access. This initiative reflects the minister’s dedication to simplifying bureaucratic procedures and ensuring the swift issuance of essential documents, aligning with the broader goal of enhancing public service.

“NANS Southwest Zone D proudly associates itself with Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo’s leadership, recognizing and appreciating the positive changes brought about during his tenure. The student association acknowledges his role in advancing the Ministry of Interior’s agenda, particularly in matters crucial to the welfare and convenience of Nigerian citizens.

“However, it is emphasized that Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo should not be linked or affiliated with issues unrelated to his personality or the scope of his ministerial responsibilities. This distinction underscores the importance of separating personal matters from professional roles and responsibilities.

“The leadership of NANS Southwest unequivocally asserts its position to the general public, individuals, and agencies against any attempt to cause distraction on the path of the Honorable Minister. We stand firm in support of the Minister’s dedicated service and call for unity in focusing on national development. Any effort to undermine this commitment will be strongly opposed. The association remains vigilant in safeguarding the Minister’s mandate and fostering a constructive environment for progress.

“In passing this vote of confidence, NANS Southwest Zone D reaffirms its support for Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo’s continued leadership within the Ministry of Interior, anticipating further advancements and positive contributions to the well-being of Nigerian citizens under his guidance,” they said in a statement.
