Gonowtravels and Tours, a foremost Nigerian travelling agency, has endorsed celebrity actress Funke Etti as its brand ambassador.

The agency aims to pursue an aggressive expansion plan for its line of businesses in Nigeria, with the brand also targeting top market share in the tourism space.

Unveiling the ambassador at its corporate office in Ikeja, Okikiayo Ishola, the agency CEO and founder Gocrest Global Dualcitizenship and Properties, said it settled for the actress given her charisma, patronage and passion for the brand.

The endorsement, a mouthwatering deal running into millions of naira and slated for a year tentatively, comprises free tours, 50 per cent discount bookings and other endorsements.

Ishola expressed confidence in Etti being a great asset to Gonowtravels and Tours, adding that the brand was looking forward to closely working with her. “We are endorsing her because she suits the brand. She’s a very good role model, and great on social media; someone that has the respect and trust of people.”

According to the CEO, long before the actress cum movie-producer came on-board, she supported and patronized the brand in many ways, including processing visas to travel through the company.

Corroborating, Victor Udoh, public relations spokesperson to Ishola, said the actress came “highly recommended and was chosen after extensive checks.

“Top brands like ours are diligent in choosing who we work with and we work with people that meet our parameters and are scandal-free,” he said.
