A man allegedly lost his life in an inferno in a building on New Year eve in Effurun area of Uvwie local government area, Delta State.

The building near a church on Warri-Sapele Road went up in flames while many worshippers were still in church. Nobody could say what caused the inferno.

Worshipers and several neighbours ran out to assist in putting out the fire. While this was on it was discovered that a man in one of the apartments lost his life in the fire incident.
