THE governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki on Wednesday inaugurated Edo State Forestry Commission with a mandate of 10 years to restore Edo forests and come out with strategies to tackle deforestation, forest degradation and develop the state’s forest assets.

Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has ordered the immediate termination of all employment in the State Civil Service made by the last administration in the last year.
