Health Tech’s role in bridging gap between patients, healthcare

Health Tech Nigeria is set for the maiden edition of the Health Tech Festival, which is to be held at The Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos from November 8-10, 2023.

According to the organisers, the event titled “Digital Health: Playing a role in the widening gap between Patients and Healthcare in Nigeria” is designed to connect health-tech practitioners and other key stakeholders in the private, and public health sectors to pave the way for the evolution of a more innovative healthcare system in the country.

The event is expected to attract well-known industry stakeholders and practitioners well over 5,000 people in attendance as well as over 7,500 digital attendees.

Amongst the speakers lined up to attend are health-tech startup founders such as Mayowa Oyatogun, the Co-Founder of Kromium Health, Olubayo Boyode, CTO of Swift MediSpark as well as Wole Fajomo, Chief Medical Officer of Pericare Hospital and Melissa Bime, CEO of Infiuss Health.

Some of the issues that will discussed at the occasion include the growing demand for innovation and insights about building a purpose-led product that the industry requires.

“The conference will help connect health-tech practitioners in Lagos during the 3-day event that will open exciting content and networking, marking the beginning of the health tech ecosystems and industry verticals.

“In addition, the event also brings together key stakeholders from the public and private health sectors to discuss policies and initiatives that will pave the way for the evolution of a more innovative, digital, and efficient healthcare system.
