Concerned Deltans in Abuja have hailed the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, over his victory at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in the State.

The group wrote the congratulatory message to the governor in Abuja, signed by the President, Deacon Chijioke Isiekwene, and Secretary, Mr. David Okiokio.

The message read: “We, the members of Concerned Deltans in Abuja rejoice with our amiable Governor Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori JP, and the entire Delta State citizens on the victory of His Excellency at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.

“The victory didn’t come as a surprise to Concerned Deltans in Abuja as we were fully convinced that our amiable Governor won the election fair and square. All members of the Group and other well-meaning Deltans voted en masse for our lovely and jovial Governor, and of course, Delta is a PDP-dominated State.

“Concerned Deltans in Abuja has before the victorious judgment appealed to our brothers in APC and other parties to forsake litigations and join hands with Elder Sheriff Oborevwori JP, the Executive Governor of Delta state, again we wish to re-echo this appeal as we rejoice with our Governor”.
