Some Nigerians have taken to social media to react to Kenny Ogungbe’s photo as he completed the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
Ogungbe, who was well-known for helping to shape the Nigerian music scene in his early 20s with his Kennis Music label, shared photos of his Passing Out Parade on Instagram with the caption, “NYSC graduation/POP today.” Graduation day in Lagos/12C “All glory to God.”
The photos sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some claiming that Ogungbe could go into politics and raising questions if the 30-year age limit for the programme is no longer in place.
Kenny Ogungbe thinks he's smart. He wants to get involved in politics, so he quickly registered for Nysc. Lmao!

Kenny Ogungbe’s NYSC is a preparation for a political ambition. He is aware of the criteria of being accepted. He did the right thing! https://t.co/8HmrD0LglL

Is there no age limit for @nysc_ng again? I thought the age limit is 30 years? How were Kenny Ogungbe and the Minister of Art and Culture mobilised? Have they eventually suspended our constitution and Acts of the National Assembly?
