A former House of Representatives aspirant for Warri federal constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta state, Hon Yabrade Moses has commended the judiciary for responding timeously to appeals to relocate the Appeal stage of the election petitions for the Delta South senatorial district to Abuja.

It would be recalled that Hon Yabrade and several others had urged the President of the Court of Appeal Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem  to relocate the appeal stage of the election  petitions to Abuja after the APC suffered huge setback at the Election petition tribunals in Asaba, capital of the state.

Affirming  his faith in the judiciary Hon Yabrade said he was certain Senator Joel-Thomas Onowakpo  would get justice at the Appeal court.

” I want to thank the judiciary for responding timeously to our cry to relocate the next stage of election petition issues for the Delta South senatorial district to Abuja

” Like many Deltans who have been following the matter in court,  it is clear that Senator Onowakpo Thomas will get justice “.

Yabrade said most Deltans were shocked when the Tribunal at Asaba ordered a rerun election in Warri south local govermment for the Delta South senatorial election.

” Even  some members of the other political parties were surprised when they heard the judgment. They had said they were not sure they had a good case, so the judgement surprised them.”
