Having parents that are both entrepreneurs would certainly influence young people to have a “business mind” in whatever they do in life.
This is according to high-flying CEO of Yamin Halal Investment, Isah Mukailu, better known as Misab.
Speaking on the sideline of an Abuja business forum organised by TMY News, the young business executive avowed that having a background with a modicum of business context contributes to a child’s future disposition to entrepreneurship.
According to him: “I have talent, skill and competence to thrive in the music industry, I have the education to forge a career in the civil service, having graduated from the University of Abuja and having just concluded my postgraduate diploma, but I am more predisposed to business, and this was right from when I became a discerning teenager when all I wanted to do was business.”
Misab, who belongs to the ranks of Nigeria’s emerging high-flying entrepreneurs, admitted that his parents influenced his career path.
“I imbibed the aspiration from them. For example, the day I wrapped up a contract, my mother who is a business guru was so proud of me she kissed me on my forehead, ” he said.
With his aspiration fueled by motivation from his parents, he has successfully established himself as a successful entrepreneur in his own right.
“Yamin Halal Investment is doing well. Since the company was established, we have executed lots of business projects in the Lokoja-Abuja axis, especially in real estate, supplying and general contracting,” Misab explained.
He doesn’t envisage a future where he is completely separated from entrepreneurship.
“As the saying goes, once a businessman, always a businessman. My future plan will always be within a business context. Presently, I am working on expanding my business skill to enable me build a system the world can benefit from,” said Misab.
