United Kingdom real estate mogul and serial entrepreneur, Jordan Messoud, has shared how he made his first one million at the age of 20.
According to him, he was running his businesses in his second year at Coventry University and also running an online course that equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to succeed.
“At the age of 20, I made my first 6 figures!” he reveals. “I was running my very own affiliate marketing business in my second year at Coventry University. I was promoting other businesses’ services and products for a fixed rate. I was paid six figures for those services.”
Recounting how he became an entrepreneur at 14, Messoud said he wanted to become an entrepreneur because he never wanted to work for anybody and he was 100% sure of that when he started at age 14.
“From a young age, I always had a passion for business. When most of the kids my age were engaging in illegal activities or wanted to find a part-time job but I took the entrepreneurial route by knocking on my neighbor’s doors to find goods that they didn’t want. I then sold that at a local boot-sale market, he recalled.
“I was 14, and at that age, everyone in my school year had to go on a 1-week work experience. I was accepted by Peter Jones for 1 week, I was working as a sales assistant on the shop floor. I was ordered around by my manager and I didn’t like the feeling of not being in control of my day.”
“After that short work experience, I said to myself that I will never get a job again. I knew that being employed was not for me, I wanted to become my boss and that inspired me towards being an entrepreneur,” Messoud added.
