ICAN holds 52nd annual confab

The 52nd annual accountants’ conference of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN is schedule between 10th and 14th October 2022.

In a press statement signed by Prof Ahmed M. Kumshe, FCA Registrar/Chief Executive of the institute, the conference with the theme: NIGERIA; ADAPTING SUSTAINABILITY FOR ECONOMIC PROSPERITY will hold at the International Conference Centre and Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.

The plenary sessions according to him include sustainability and innovative tax, sustainability reporting to achieve SDGS and green economy, digital transformation: mega trends in the accountancy profession, transition to clean sustainable energy and the Nigerian economy, deepening market offerings for a sustainable Nigerian economy as well as opportunities for entrepreneurial chartered accountants.

Kumshe noted that registration for the conference is strictly online at ICAN website and participation is also open to non-Members.

The Institute,he said, will also provide all necessary safety measures against Covid-19 pandemic at the conference venue and hotels with strict adherence to NCDC Covid-19 protocols for the duration of the conference.
