The life of a 15-year-old boy, Solomon Miracle, is under severe threats and attacks by men of the underworld allegedly sponsored by Ogboni cult members, an elite occult group known for their mystic powers and influence in Nigeria.
Solomon who was reportedly attacked in the Sabon Geri area of Kano, by some strange men who reportedly warned him to obey his father’s death wish and return to Benin City, his birthplace after beating him up.
The Kano incident on May 18, 2022, his associates hinted was the second to happen to Solomon in the northern Nigerian cities after a similar incident had forced him to run away from Katsina town, Katsina State where he had taken refuge after attempts to forcefully initiate him into Ogboni cult during the processes leading to the burial of his father, Chief Miracle…..
Reports indicate that Solomon sensing some sinister motives from the occult men at the preliminary stage of his late father’s burial, had reportedly disappeared from his Benin City home abandoning the burial ceremony which they wanted to use to trap him.
His escape reportedly created an atmosphere of confusion as both extended family members and the occult men demanded that he be brought back at all cost to complete the burial and initiation rites.
Turned between his strong Christian faith and his “duty” to honour his late father’s death wish to inherit his prime position in the Ogboni Confraternity, Solomon reportedly chose the former and ran away to avoid being harmed by the occult group known for their power and influence in the Nigerian society.
Solomon before his disappearance family sources revealed, had been subjected to some dehumanizing and inhumane fetish occult practices at the commencement of the burial ceremonies, including his being allegedly forced to sleep on the same bed with the corpse of his late father Miracle …. for three days.
Apparently frustrated with no where to turn to when he was made aware that some substances extracted from his late father’s remains would be fed to him as part of his initiation into the Ogboni cult, a family source hinted, Miracle had to run to take refuge in his apprenticeship boss’s house, Mr Andrew Idemudia.
Unable to withstand the pressure and threats from the occult group in the face of passive disposition of extended family members towards the unfolding drama, the apprenticeship boss Andrew, turned Solomon off to save his own life.
The source who wouldn’t want his name mentioned, said Solomon joined a friendly truck driver named Nasir Abba from Katsina, a northern Nigerian city who offered to take him to his place.
Notwithstanding the escape from Benin City, the occult men using their spiritual radder, reportedly located his hide out in far away Katsina and threatened to harm his host Nasir if he failed to give him up after beating them up, said the source who pleaded anonymity.
The culture of forced occult practices inheritance was rife in Benin City before the spread of Christianity, thus making it very unpopular with young christian believers who will never accept to compromise their faith in Christ.
The Kano attack none the less was said to have been reported to the police who allegedly declined interest in matter.
