Hordes of journalists and delegates trying to enter the Eagles Square venue of the All Progressives Congress APC, were denied entry as at 3.08 pm.

Gun and horse-whip wielding security men ordered the accredited journalists to leave the entrance. After pushing people away they sprayed teargas on them forcing them to scamper for safety.
