New boy, Ademola Lookman is the latest player to arrive camp as Nigeria prepares for a showdown with the Black Stars of Ghana on Friday.

Both sides will slug it out for a place at this year’s FIFA World Cup.

The Leicester City forward’s availability was earlier in doubt after he missed his side’s weekend victory over Brentford.

Lookman only recently got the nod from world football governing body, FIFA, to represent Nigeria and earned a call-up as a result of his club form this season.

His inclusion intensifies the competition in the already congested attack line. He would most likely be deployed to the wings that has Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon and Ahmed Musa.

Nigeria will jet out of the country on Wednesday for Friday’s first leg before welcoming Otto Addo’s men next Tuesday at the MKO stadium in Abuja.

The 23 players now in camp are:

Goalkeepers: Francis Uzoho (AC Omonia, Cyprus); Daniel Akpeyi (Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa);
