The Commissioner of Police in  Kwara State Police Command, Mr Tuesday Assayomo has dismissed claims by Chief Gani Adams that Kidnappers and Bandits have relocated to the state, saying that nothing like such happened even as he insisted that the state remain one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria.

Operatives of the  Special Tactical Squad of the Nigerian Police Force have arrested a total of thirty-two (32) notorious suspects for their complicity in the crimes of kidnapping, armed robbery, arms smuggling, illegal possession of weapons, trading in illicit drugs, trans-border car theft, rape, amongst others.
