Five years after it introduced the whistleblower policy to help combat corruption in the country, the Federal Government has lamented the reluctance of Nigerians to report incidences of corruption, challenging them to be ready to pay the supreme price for the development of the nation.

THE Federal Government, yesterday,  threw its weight behind the Lagos State government’s White Paper  on the report of the judicial panel set up to probe cases of police brutality  and  shooting at the Lekki tollgate, promising to take further actions.

Despite awareness, oil companies continue to flare gas, due partly to lack of infrastructure for processing and distribution to domestic and industrial users. Over the years, the federal government has made efforts to encourage investment in gas processing especially for the domestic market including providing incentives to oil companies.
