Losing one of the most precious things on earth didn’t stop this determined talent, rather he accepted his fate and decided to forge on. Lanre David Olatunbosun, who is popularly known as Don Wura, is one of the very talented fast rising artistes who has since been disturbing the underground music scene. He is the frontline artiste at 899Karat Entertainment.
However, losing his mum in 2008 should have marked the diminishing of his dreams to become a successful singer, because he so much loves her and she was her pillar of support. Rather, he summoned courage and took charge to cater for his siblings.
Meanwhile, the Abeokuta born Don Wura, who grew up in Agege, and had his junior education there, has since put himself together and keeps pursuing his dreams and he seems getting it right. He is now fast becoming a force to reckon with as far as the music industry is concerned.
Speaking recently at an event, he spoke about his growing up a few things many don’t know about him and what he loves to do when he is not in the studio recording. He said he loves playing Play Station games.
“I am proud to associate with Agege because I was born and grew up there although I am from Abeokuta. I attended different schools in the same Agege. I started my singing career there and the place definitely has a part in my history and I won’t rule that out.”
